Return Policy
Here at SECURITY-PRO-TECH, our number one priority is customer service and customer satisfaction. We offer a 100% customer satisfaction guarantee.
Return Policy - We offer a 30-day money back guarantee on our self defense items. If you are not fully satisfied, you may return your order within 30 days of receipt. We only ask that you follow our guidelines when doing so. We do not pay for return shipping. Refunds are contingent upon inspection of item(s) once we receive it. Please allow 7-10 days for processing returns.
Hidden Cameras - All our hidden cameras, surveillance equipment, electronic equipment, other hi-tech products, and pool alarms are special order items and are NOT subject to cancellations or returns. Due to the nature of this product line, returns for hidden cameras, surveillance equipment, electronic equipment, other hi-tech products, pool alarm will only be accepted if the item has a manufacturers defect. In which case the product will be repaired or replaced at our discretion, and shipped back to the customer.
DVD’s, Videos, and CD Software. There will not be any refunds given. NO refunds on DVD’s, Videos or Software as they can be copied.
Pepper Sprays - We cannot accept Pepper Sprays for returns unless we sent the wrong item or it is defective.
IMPORTANT - The product(s) must be returned in resaleable condition with all original undamaged packaging, accessories and accompanying literature. If we receive your product without the accompanying accessories and documentation, you will not get a refund or in store credit. If you lost something that goes with your order, you can not return it. There is a 25% restocking fee on all returned items.
If you need to return an order, please read all of the following carefully:
- Contact us by email through our web site contact form for an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. Provide your name, order number, order date, what you would like to return, daytime telephone number, and reason for return. The RMA number must be on your return shipping label. If it is not, your package may be refused and sent back to you. We get samples from different companies and individuals all the time. If we accept/receive a package and it does not have an RMA number on the box, it gets set aside.
- Returns must be postmarked within 30 days of delivery date. All delivery dates are kept on file here at SECURITY-PRO-TECH. If you are unsure of your delivery date, put your tracking number that we emailed you into the tracking mechanism at www.ups.com and you can confirm it.
- Hidden Cameras - All our hidden cameras, surveillance equipment, and other hi-tech products are special order items and are NOT subject to cancellations or returns. Due to the nature of this product line, returns for hidden cameras will only be accepted if the camera has a manufacturers defect. In which case the product will be repaired or replaced, and shipped back to the customer. All returns must be authorized by SECURITY-PRO-TECH before product(s) is returned. All products must be returned in the original packaging.
- WARRANTY: We guarantee all SECURITY-PRO-TECH hidden cameras, surveillance equipment, and other hi-tech products to be free of defects in workmanship and material for 30 days (unless manufacturer’s warranty is longer; please call) after sale to the customer. We will replace or repair the product(s) at our option providing there is no evidence of customer misuse, or alteration. Customer is responsible for all return shipping charges for warranty work.
- Videos, DVD’s and Software - Since videos, DVD’s, and software CD’s and tapes can be copied, there will not be any refunds given. No refunds on Videos, DVD’s, and Software.
- You are responsible for the cost of shipping the item back to SECURITY-PRO-TECH. If you want to return it, you must pay for shipping the item yourself. If, however, we make a mistake on your order, we will reimburse you the cost of shipping your order back to us via Ground or Standard only. No Overnight or Express methods will be reimbursed. We will reship your order the same way we shipped it to you initially at no additional charge. This makes it fair to all concerned.
Please send your return via UPS or FED EX since these methods are easily trackable. If you prefer to use US Mail, we recommend PRIORITY MAIL with a Delivery Confirmation it’s faster and you can track your package, please insure the package and include delivery confirmation. It is the customers responsibility to make sure the return gets to SECURITY-PRO-TECH.
DO NOT RETURN ANY ITEM UNTIL YOU HAVE A RETURN MERCHANDISE NUMBER (RMA) FROM US.
Returns Can Be Sent To: You will be given return address information when you receive the RMA number from us.
It is possible for us to make typeographical errors we reserve to the right to make make corrections or changes. Prices, products, product descriptions, shipping,, and return policies are subject to change without notice. From time to time an item may be out of stock. We normally backorder items if it will be more than two weeks we will notify you of the delay. |
