In an unprecedented journey which took her into corridors of power around the world, Laura Liswood conducted one-on-one interviews with fifteen women presidents and prime ministers. The Council of Women World Leaders is a network of current and former women presidents and prime ministers. The Council currently has 36 Members.
The Council and its Ministerial Initiative create a a collective voice for women at the highest levels of government. Mary Robinson, President of Ireland (1990-97) is Chair of the Council, and Margot Wallström, First Vice-President of the European Commission is Chair of our Ministerial Initiative.
